Presenting your logo design to the client in an effective way
Thursday 30 September 2010So you’ve been briefed, done your research, sketched and put together a few logo ideas for your client. But what now? What’s the best way of presenting these to the client?
In my experience attaching a few jpegs to an email with a short “here are my ideas…” message doesn’t normally cut it. You have spent time on your ideas and looked at various options and applications of the logo so it’s important that you communicate that information in a visual way.

Making Future Magic: iPad light painting
Tuesday 21 September 2010This film explores playful uses for the increasingly ubiquitous ‘glowing rectangles’ that inhabit the world.
Dentsu London use photographic and animation techniques that were developed to draw moving 3-dimensional typography and objects with an iPad. In dark environments, they play movies on the surface of the iPad that extrude 3-d light forms as they move through the exposure. Multiple exposures with slightly different movies make up the stop-frame animation.
